Bavarian Research Group ForGenderCare
The Bavarian Research Group "Gender & Care" (ForGenderCare) took up its work in the early summer of 2015. Prof. Dr. Villa and Prof. Dr. Thiessen (HAW Landshut) are the spokeswomen in charge of the research group with the LMU being the responsible university.
A total of 12 research projects are funded at universities and colleges all across Bavaria over a 4-year period and with total investments of more than 3m euros. The disciplines included in the project cover a wide array of subjects from medicine, technical and engineering sciences, business management/management science, education, social work and media sciences right through to history, sociology and philosophy.
